Hi
Thanks, i´m glad that you like these pics.
@Edelfrau: I´m sorry, i can´t give you an answear. Most of the turtles are wild caught, so i can´t tell you, how old they are.
Only the Melanochelys male, he hatched about 15 years ago here in germany.
@Marco: Good looking Cyclemys. Have you a pic of the plastron?
I send pics of my animal to some experts, but nobody could give me a clear answear.
About the leytensis: I heard of an import comeing to the Czech Republic this year.
They are really wonderful animals, thats right.
@Andrea: Yes, i can post pics of my other turtels to this evening. I´m keeping some european and american species beside of the asians.
Thanks for sharing the leytensis-pics. Do you know, who is keeping this animals now?
best greetz

Dear Sir,
1. Unfortunately, I received one photo of cinnamon C. pulchristriata only. I will send message to its breeder, to ask for more pictures, as well for pictures of naturaly colored. C. pulchristriata, too!
2. Regarding your male of M. trijuga male, it is one beautifull animal. In the case you are interested to accompanying him with one to two females, I am able to help you in this matter, Sir, and provide good quality adult males to you. Few of my good friend in good breeders in Asia are having this species avialable!
3. I am having not knowledge about import of H. leytensis to Czech Republic. It will be very nice to have this species by EU breeders avaialble. It would guarantee good future of this species in captivity.
Anyway, in the case of your interest, and of course - in the case of interest of some Tarta Club members, I am able to help in this matter, too, due my friend in Thailand is having good captive stock of this species. As I already wrote, I had intention to import few subadult to adult heads of this species 30 months ago, but due to zero of understanding by side of CITES Office of mine, I was unable to do it.
I hope, you will have more understanding by side of your Authorities, and they will permit import of this species to Italy or Germany.
4. I will be also very happy to see more pictures of different Turtles species
